Ruffle love. and Boot envy.

Why do I do this to myself?  Why do I look at things (and subsequently lust for things) that are just out of reach?
My heart skips a beat when I look at this French Connection coat.  Why, oh why wasn't it on sale when I made my Christmas list?!

Original Price: an unaffordable $368.  Sale price: an attainable $195.99.

So you can imagine the somersaults my heart does when I look at these amazing DKNY over the knee boots.

Original Price: an unaffordable $375.  Sale Price: an attainable $199.20.

ok, now that that's off my chest....

:) Tiffany

PS- I have to admit that I almost nixed this post.  Because I didn't want you to think I'm poor because I can't afford these items.  Isn't that silly?  I mean seriously, someone isn't 'poor' because she chooses not to spend $200 on something she doesn't need!  That's prime time television, movies, and the fashion industry talking!  And if I was poor, so what?  Would you love me any less?  Ok, sorry to spoil a fun carefree post with deeper more personal thoughts. But that's the dichotomy of Tiffany.  One half fun-fashion obsessed-shopaholic, the other half thoughtful-overanalytical-rational being.  ;)

Fun, Easy, and Thoughtful Last Minute Gift Idea

Go ahead. Admit that you're not finished Christmas shopping. Admit that there's that one person on your list for whom you have zero creative, thoughtful, or unique gift ideas. Admit that you're THIS close to drowning in despair.  Enter How Fast Time Flies. There is still time to give the gift of memories. Ok that was super cheesy...but also super true!! There are some people who need a little push to get their memories in some format they can enjoy (anyone else saddened by the gazillions of pictures that never made it off your camera, never mind off of your hard drive?). Well I made a book of my daughter's first year at How Fast Time Flies that I am in love with. It's captured some of my favorite memories of her and some of her cutest shots. It's something our family will cherish forever. Plainly put: It's better than a gift card! SO, how can you treat someone to such a special gift? Well if you have enough photos of the recipient and her family, you could make it for her, but you're running short on time.  A more realistic alternative is to purchase a gift card and with the gift card include one page that you did make. If it's for a good friend or family member you no doubt already have a super cute picture of her or her kid(s) in your e-mail, or on facebook, or in a shared York/Shutterly/Snapfish/Kodak album, right?! Well take a couple of those photos and make a quick page. It will seriously take you less than 10 minutes!  Couple that with a gift card and voila! You have a sweet and thoughtful gift for a friend. You don't have much time so do it NOW.

And just for you (ok, just for you and all their other customers) you can save 25% on pages and gift cards.  With this deal you might as well get one for yourself while you're at it (Is it just me, or does the "one for you, one for me" mode of Christmas shopping make it so much more fun)?!

Enter the code SAVE25 to receive 25% sitewide on all orders under $75.
Enter the code SHIP75 to receive 25% sitewide PLUS free shipping on orders $75 or more. Your choice! Offer expires at 11:59 PST December 16th, 2010, which is also the date all page orders must be in to be guaranteed by Christmas. These discount codes also apply to gift certificates, but hurry because supplies are limited.

Click here to see the book I made (still need a couple of pages to complete it!).  Click here to see my prior post on the subject.
